For Jarrett’s social media icon, I extracted the monstera leaf “J” from the logo to create something simple and suitable for a small screen.

Jarrett’s Jungle is a local plant and gardening shop in Columbia, South Carolina. They specialize in tropical plants and several painted parrots decorate the interior. In creating this logo, I aimed to reflect the bright, eclectic, whimsical, and friendly atmosphere of the store. Like most cities, Columbia has plenty of plant shops, so Jarrett’s needed a logo that was memorable and unique. I chose to lean into the parrot motif and use bright colors to create a logo that was eye catching and true to the business’s aesthetic.
